Genuine BMW replacement water pump with o-ring for all M42 and M44 engines.
The original factory water pumps have gained a bad reputation over the years for having failure prone plastic impellers, but the revised composite impeller pumps are better, with the advantage of an incredibly lightweight impeller and a consistent shape. Factory pumps have a life of around 90,000 miles and should be changed as preventative measure.
