Genuine BMW replacement coolant fitting located at the back of the cylinder head on all M44 4 cylinder engines.
Replacing this little fitting is just as important as replacing the water pump, thermostat or radiator. The failure of this often overlooked coolant fitting has caused blown head gaskets and even completely blown engines. We suggest replacing this fitting every 90,000 miles. Do not wait till the fitting fails to replace it, this is one you want to stay in front of.
The Genuine BMW fitting is the best on the market. The less expensive aftermarket fittings do not match the quality fit and function of the OE part. As a result, BimmerBum only sells the Genuine BMW (OE) version of this part.
