The factory water pump and power steering pump pulleys are a plastic composite material and will eventually break leaving you stranded, or worse, causing damage to other parts when they fail. Others aftermarket pulley kits offer claims of added power, this power is achieved by under-driving important things like the water pump and alternator. THIS IS NOT AN UNDERDRIVE KIT, it is a RELIABILITY kit.
